Why Walt Disney World’s unique plan by no means may have labored

Fall 2021 marks the golden anniversary of one of the world’s most popular vacation destinations, Walt Disney World. However, if we turn the clock back a little, today, November 15th, is actually the 55th anniversary of the day the general public first learned of Walt Disney’s plans to build what will be called Disney World has been. That day, at a press conference in Florida, Walt and Roy Disney confirmed what had been speculated for some time: The Walt Disney Company had bought Florida marshland in order to build something even more massive in size and ambition than Disneyland. It was a potentially revolutionary idea … that would never work.
