TVLine Articles: Lucifer Season 6 Casting, Kelly Clarkson Renewed, and Extra

Lucifer’s Amenadiel makes a new friend: Merrin Dungey (alias) will appear as in the sixth and final season of the Netflix drama Sonya, a no-nonsense police officer with an unlikely connection with DB Woodside’s angel, announced the streamer on Tuesday.

Brianna Hildebrand (Trinkets, The Exorcist) will also play Rory, a rebellious and fearful angel who hopes to follow in Lucifer’s footsteps.

After a pandemic-related hiatus, Lucifer resumed production in late September to complete the 16th and final episode of season five, and then moved straight to the start of production for the sixth and final season, which will include 10 episodes. A premiere date for Season 5B and Season 6 has not yet been announced.
