The Mandalorian Season 2, Episode Three confirms the longstanding rumor about Mando’s mission

The Mandalorian Season 2 revealed a major Jedi update. Episode 3 of the final season is currently streamed on Disney +. Din Djarin and the kid have been doing some side chores over the past few weeks that have kept them pretty busy. First there was the Krayt Dragon Battle on Tatooine and then the rescue of Frog Lady and her eggs on Maldo Circle in Aurebesh, which happens to be the same planet Djarin went to in Chapter 1. There are major SPOILER For Mandalorian Season 2, Episode 3 below, come back now if you haven’t seen them before.

war of stars Fans have been waiting for a couple of big revelations in The Mandalorian season two, and so far the show has delivered. Boba Fett was featured in Episode 1, and now we’ve learned the identity of the Jedi who Din Djarin will be given the child to. While not shown in Episode 2, it is revealed that the show will actually feature Ahsoka Tano. It’s unclear if the character will appear in the upcoming fourth episode, but she’ll be featured at some point, with Rosario Dawson likely playing the role.

As Din Djarin learned from Ahsoka Tano, another surprise for hardcore Star Wars fans was. Former Mandalorian leader Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff) and her crew help Mando out of a bond more than once in a row. Bo-Katan was an important figure in Madalore’s struggle against the Empire, described in Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. She also has great connections with the Darksaber. In episode 3, Bo-Katan assigns Mando to dismantle an Imperial weapons ship, even though they end up kidnapping it.

Mando has his clear mission and a name where the child must be, while Bo-Katan hunts for the Darksaber and Moff Gideon for the child. It appears that at some point during the second season of Mandalorian, Bo-Katan will be reunited with Mando and the child as their paths seemed to cross. Gideon is briefly introduced in hologram form in the episode, and this was the first time we’ve seen him this season. Greef Karga and Cara Dune have yet to be seen.

The Mandalorian Season 2 got things going at full blast with Episode 3, aka Chapter 11: The Heiress. Bryce Dallas Howard was behind the camera for the episode, which is the shortest to air this season. Star Wars fans most likely wanted more after the cunning kidnapping and news of the Jedi that Din Djarin and the child will meet. What will happen when Djarin meets with a Jedi is unclear, although it does seem that some major battles are on the way.
