“The Croods: A New Age” Unique drive-in for Common CityWalk Hollywood
The Croods: A New Age hits theaters on November 25th. But if you live in Los Angeles and the movie theaters are still closed, your options are pretty limited. Fortunately, with Universal and DreamWorks Animation, you covered THE CROODS: A NEW AGE drive-in screening and experience at Universal CityWalk Hollywood November 19-24. As for drive-in events, this one rocks.
To experience the Croods world, you have to register here first. While a minimum donation of $ 10 per car is required to reserve a ticket, Universal Pictures will donate $ 10 for each ticket reserved for Feeding America with a maximum donation of $ 9,000.00. Not only do you see one of the most anticipated animated films of the year early (and in a cool drive-in scenario), but you do so for a good cause.
According to the official press release, the drive-in screening of The Croods: A New Age will be “shown on a giant LED screen, visible day and night. Before the movie begins, guests will be offered an exclusive pre-show show with DreamWorks Animation content and a snack box courtesy of Universal CityWalk. Guests also have the flexibility to park their car and visit Universal CityWalk to purchase additional food and drinks. “That’s right – you can get out of your car and go to the Mini KFC to buy a Mountain Dew Sweet Lightning and some of their new original recipe fries (so, so good). How cool is that
But that’s not all, because, as we all know, is it really a drive-in event with no impressive photo opportunities? The official press release reads again: “Before the screening, guests are invited to preview the world of The Croods. The immersive experience features recreations of the film’s most exciting locations and characters, including the elaborate tree house Monkey Lair, the Thunder Sisters, and more. The experience offers guests multiple interactive ways to have amazing photo ops without compromising the safety of their cars. “
