Star Wars’ Oscar Isaac in talks about Marvel’s Moon Knight for Disney +
Oscar Isaac of the third Star Wars trilogy is in talks to qualify as Moon Knight for Disney + ‘s upcoming Marvel hero series, our sister site Variety reports.
However, “in conversation” can be the operative words. Just a few days ago, both Daveed Diggs (Snowpiercer) and Nick Kroll (The League) are said to have fought for the plum concert. And Tatiana Maslany recently disproved similar seemingly solid reports of taking the lead on Disney + ‘s She-Hulk series.
Moon Knight is often compared to Batman because his alter ego, Marc Spector, is a billionaire who uses his wealth to fund / outsmart his exploits. (Specifically, Spector, a former CIA agent and mercenary, was near death when the Egyptian moon god Khonshu offered him a second chance in life and endowed him with superhuman abilities.)
Disney + ‘s Moon Knight series was announced some time ago, concurrently with the aforementioned She Hulk project and a Ms. Marvel series in which newcomer Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, the first Muslim hero of the Marvel comics , absolutely and super officially starring will overwrite their own title.
Prior to his appearance as Poe Dameron in Star Wars VII, VIII, and IX, Isaac’s TV credits included HBO’s miniseries Show Me a Hero.
