See Hayley Williams cowl the Huge Assault teardrop.

Hayley Williams played a cover of Massive Attack’s “Teardrop” from their 1998 album Mezzanine as part of The Ally Coalition’s 7th Annual Talent Show. Williams played the song in a bedroom, in a bathrobe with his hair wrapped in a towel. Check it out below.

The event was streamed live from Jack Antonoff’s Twitch account for free to raise funds for LGBTQ + homeless youth. Sleater-Kinney, Brittany Howard, Lana Del Rey, Clairo, and others joined the stream, which mostly featured covers by other artists as well as 1-minute plays by comedians like Reggie Watts, Aidy Bryant, and Mike Birbiglia.

Williams released her solo debut Petals for Armor in May but had to postpone the support tour to 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
