Monster Hunter information Surprise Lady 1984 with a brand new Christmas launch date

The Monster hunter Publication date has been changed again. Screen Gems has announced that the long-awaited film will take on Wonder Woman 1984 on Christmas Day. The film was originally scheduled to hit theaters in September but was postponed until April 2021 before being postponed to December 30th of that year. Warner Bros. announced earlier this week that Wonder Woman opened in theaters in 1984 and premiered on HBO Max at the same time, giving DC fans a choice of how to experience the sequel.

As of this writing, cinemas are open in certain US cities. However, that could change in the coming weeks as the public health crisis deepens. Paul WS Anderson and Screen Gems seem pretty confident that the theaters will stay open for the Monster Hunter premiere. How the box office fights with Wonder Woman 1984 will work, that’s unclear, although there won’t be much more in the way of the box office competition on vacation.

It’s not clear if the studio has a different plan for Monster Hunter in case theaters don’t open on Christmas Day this year. Warner Bros. has a backup plan that allows Wonder Woman 1984 to be streamed on the same day, so HBO Max subscriptions may rise in due course. Regardless, the sequel will be some kind of success, although this will be compared to everything else in 2020. Monster Hunter trailers have been a big contributor to the hype for the video feature film, although it remains to be seen whether fans will congregate in the theaters to see it this Christmas.

As of this writing, it is believed that Monster Hunter, starring Milla Jovovich, will open in the UK on December 4th. The studio has not announced any international changes, although it could end up doing so. In addition to the new 2020 release date, it was also announced that the film would screen in IMAX theaters, the doors of which can be opened on Christmas Day. Cinemas across North America had to close in March this year, and in many large cities like New York and Los Angeles they never opened on a large scale.

Most of the studios recorded their big 2020 films and pushed them off well into 2021. Marvel Studios was due to release Black Widow and the Eternals film this year, but after some big discussion, the studio decided to bring both films out about a year later on their original release dates. Warner Bros. decided to do the same with their long-awaited Dune, although they released Christopher Nolan’s Tenet that summer and continue to plan to open Wonder Woman in theaters on Christmas Day in 1984. Deadline was the first to announce the new release date for Monster Hunter.
