During an interview with GQ Magazine, Megan stated that many people didn’t know how to feel or how to react to a woman who is taking control of her body and sexuality. Megan says men probably felt like they “had sex” the longest, but now women are saying it is for them, too.
Megan went on to say that the men’s hatred of the song “stems from a place of fear and uncertainty,” adding that she doesn’t understand why anyone would ever dislike the song because it isn’t even their song.
When asked how men should treat their significant other for Christmas this year, Megan said it was about “love and respect” and not always about money. However, the rapper joked that jewelry is never a bad choice when a man or woman is stuck on what to get someone for Christmas. The rapper joked, “Everyone loves ice cream.”
