In 2020 Cardi B and Megan Thee stallion released their joint song “WAP” and it was easily one of the biggest singles of the year, though it didn’t come without its haters. Fans of the artists know that it was controversial because of its subject.

“WAP”, which stands for “Wet A * s P * ssy”, went to number one and stayed there for weeks and went platinum in just a few months, at least according to Cardi’s husband Offset. In any case, not everyone liked the song, although it was very successful.

During an interview with GQ Magazine, Megan stated that many people didn’t know how to feel or how to react to a woman who is taking control of her body and sexuality. Megan says men probably felt like they “had sex” the longest, but now women are saying it is for them, too.
