One of the most intriguing aspects of Wonder Woman 3’s green light is the story Jenkins has planned for fans eager to see what’s next for Diana Prince. Back in December 2019, Jenkins confirmed that she knew the Wonder Woman 3 story, but remained vague as to whether the film was running. It’s been a year since Wonder Woman was completed in 1984, which means there has been plenty of time to dig into a story and maybe even ponder the return of a certain Wonder Woman 1984 villain.

Another point of interest is Jenkins’ plans Star Wars: Rogue Squadron will affect their work developing Wonder Woman 3 and getting it ready for production. With no set release date for the third Wonder Woman film, there shouldn’t be much of a concern that the loner director can edit both projects. However, fans should keep an eye on them as they develop so they know what release date to put on their calendars.

Wonder Woman 1984 is now available to stream on HBO Max through January 24, 2021. We will keep you updated on Wonder Woman 3 as this project develops. In the meantime, check out all of the new Warner Bros. movies coming out on HBO Max in 2021.
