Bachelorette’s Ben Smith opens up about Tayshia Adam’s dedication to Zac Clark
“I was in the camp like it was impossible for any other guy to have the same experience as me,” he admitted. “But when I look at it now I see: Oh my god Ben, dude. Your relationship was one thing and it was playful and fun, and I can see that connection that we had, but it’s pretty obvious that there was a deeper bond and ultimately a deeper connection with Zac. You can see their chemistry, you can see how they play against each other. “
Ben, who told Nick that it has been over a year since he had an off-show date, said he was concerned about returning because he was concerned he would have to get over her who had previously turned him down. But given the strength of his feelings, Ben knew he had to take his shot, mostly because she had helped him on his personal journey.
“I came to meet a girl, to learn about myself and maybe restore my confidence in humanity, and I got all of these things which is crazy for me,” he continued. “The reason I fell in love with her was because of the way she made me feel. She had space for me. She created a space where I can be open and vulnerable. And it was safe and it was safe, and she didn’t. ” I don’t run and she hasn’t chastised me, and all she does is receive me. And I’m grateful for that and I’m incredibly grateful for the experience. “
